Art Competition 2019

The Office of Congresswoman Scanlon invites High School students throughout the Congressional District to participate in the 2019 Congressional Art Competition.

 

Below are links to the information packet for students who are interested in submitting an artwork to this year’s competition, the rules and regulations of the competition, a checklist to ensure all areas are completed, and information to avoid plagiarism.

Due to space considerations, we ask that each artist submit one (1) artwork.

 

To submit an artwork for consideration, please submit works that meet the competition requirements to the address below between Monday, April 20, 2019 and Friday, April 26, 2019:

The District Office will host an event displaying the artwork, and the works will be judged by an independent panel of artists and teachers.  The winning artwork will be hung in Cannon Tunnel, United States House of Representatives, for the duration of the exhibit.
