The Office of Congresswoman Scanlon is currently accepting applications for the following internship opportunities. All interns who are not receiving college credit or outside funding and are able to work at least four full days a week are eligible to receive a stipend.

Legislative Internship

Applications for the DC office fall internship are now closed. Please check back for spring 2022 internship updates.

Internships are available in Congresswoman Scanlon’s Washington, DC office for college students and recent graduates.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Drafting constituent correspondence
  • Researching legislative issues
  • Responding to constituent mail

Ideal applicants will be motivated team players with strong communication skills and have a demonstrated interest in government and public service.

Internship hours run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours and start dates can be adjusted to accommodate class schedules.
