The Congressional Award recognizes initiative, service, and achievement in young people by awarding certificates or medals to individuals who earn hours in four program areas: Voluntary Public Service, Personal Development, Physical Fitness, and Expedition/Exploration. Anyone who is 13 and a half years old can register and all activities must be complete by their 24th birthday.
