On Monday, September 14 at 10:00 am, Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon (PA-05) and Rep. Joe Morelle (NY-25), the top Democrat on the Committee on House Administration, hosted a shadow hearing in Chester, Pennsylvania focused on how House Democrats will continue fighting to protect our democracy.
The Committee on House Administration has oversight over federal elections. The shadow hearing helped inform Ranking Member Morelle and the Committee Democrats shape policies to protect American democracy, which includes election security, electoral reforms, voting rights, and anti-corruption efforts.
