On Tuesday, September 22, at 2:00 pm ET, Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon, Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government, will lead a spotlight hearing to reassure the American people that, despite what they are hearing about the Trump Administration’s attempts to undermine the integrity of the midterms and sow confusion and doubt, they can feel confident that their votes will be counted this November. 

At the hearing, titled “Protecting Democracy: Defending the Right to Vote,” Members of Congress will hear from expert witnesses who have ramped up their voter education and election protection efforts.

Among the members participating will be Rep. Jamie Raskin, Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, and Rep. Joe Morelle, Ranking Member of the Committee on House Administration.
